Project Manager/Engineer – Career Hunters
[Assists in monitoring and controlling of all construction projects of the company to ensure they meet the approved constraints of Scope, [Budget, Time and Quality throughout the various project processes of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing.
[Assists the line manager in reviewing detailed construction project management plans for site development including project costing, timelines and development schedules.
[Assists the line manager in reviewing all submittal and issues related to construction management and development plans of the projects.
[Assists the line manager in preparing RFIs and RFPs, reviewing the pre-qualification and appointment of supervision consultants, construction management firms and contractors/suppliers/ vendors including negotiation of rates, contractual terms and obligations.
[Evaluates proposals received from Construction Managers, Supervision Consultants and Contractors and makes recommendations.
[Manages strategic vendor relationships with key vendors/consulting firms under the guidance of line manager.
[Monitors and Controls the progress on various projects with external agencies like architectural firms, material suppliers, construction agencies, etc. and reports to line manager to ensure that the projects are completed within the scheduled time period in an efficient and effective way.
[Reviews and processes all contractors’ payment certificates and ensures all clauses are accurate and correct.
[Reviews and evaluates variation orders from construction sites, writes recommendation reports for obtaining management final approvals and process contract change when and if approved.
[Participates in sites handover for the larger projects to the specialised contracting companies to carry out the projects and prepares work commencement order in conformity with the relevant procedures
[Ensures that the site construction adheres to original design, architectural drawings, and MEP drawings
[Assists in Value Engineering by analysing department processes, design and construction projects, and business and administrative processes to achieve balance between required functions, performance, quality, safety, and scope with the cost and other resources necessary to accomplish those requirements.
[Prepares Monthly Executive Reports and other reports and documents related to assigned responsibilities as required.
