Sous Chef

Hilton – Kuwait City – Manama, Bahrain – Position Purpose To effectively run the daily Kitchen & Stewarding Operations to ensure a high quality meal production carried out by committed chefs and the delivery of brand unique F&B guest experiences which meet our high standards in terms of presentation, taste and food hygiene. What will I be doing? Execute duties as assigned by the Chef F&B or General Manager Support the Chef F&B with administrative and managerial tasks required for a smooth and cost-efficient Kitchen & Stewarding operation Proactively propose brand unique food service and product propositions, created / modified for specific markets and customer groups to Chef F&B or GM of the hotel Maintain productivity, food cost/quality and expense performance in line with targets, set by the GM and/or Chef F&B. Guided by the Chef F&B, maintain the purchasing cycle in line with forecasted activity to minimise waste – ensuring that a robust process exists to check contract pricing- delivery – yield.
