Develops new product processes. Works to improve the existing Products, Processes and equipment. Continually reviews and monitors the performance of the area assigned to, which includes all related equipment, to ensure adherence to operational standards, quality specifications and output within budget and time deadlines. Works to develop productivity improvements and cost saving measures in order to meet the company’s current and future goals Manages and Controls the assigned area budgets for specific items. Involves in identification of specifications, commissioning and development of new practices for new machines or systems. Acts as a key member of the QMS team, to satisfy the system requirements of the areas assigned.
Aluminum Manufacturing Company
– Establishes and modifies Standard Operating Practices (SOP).- Prepares and monitors budget variations on parts related to the job and takes follow-up actions where needed.- Liaises with ICT to develop more informative and more operator-friendly programs on SFDC for entering data and other information.- Checks mill coolant to ensure correct quality and specifications, depending on the area assigned.- Liaises with Quality Control and Production Planning & Control to look into possibilities of continuing operations, when the equipment is not in standard condition and repairs are planned to be carried after a period of time.- Liaises with Engineering, Quality Control and Production to highlight failures and recurring problems.- Closely involved in deciding the specifications, Commissioning and setting up the standard operating practices for New Equipment.- Issues Change in Process Procedures (CIPP), when necessary- Acts as a key member of the Management Systems. Prepares Procedures, Work Instructions whenever required, looks after calibration of measuring devices, involve in ISO Internal / external Audits, and satisfies the requirements of the official Area Documentation Representative for the assigned area of responsibility.- Reviews the stock levels of critical existing stock items, introduces new stock items as required, eliminates items not required, recommends the right supplier based on required specifications, cost, reliable delivery etc. for direct purchase critical items.
– Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Metallurgy including Manufacturing Technology.- 5 years experience in process industry.- Good knowledge of Material Science.- Numerate with ability to perform process calculations.- Required excellent spoken and written English
